Nick Telson, a founder and angel investor, in London. Coming from a marketing background at L’Oreal, where he launched 2 brands into the UK, he has grown DesignMyNight into an 8 million views a month website with two ground-breaking B2B systems; Collins Booking and Tonic Ticketing.
DesignMyNight was acquired by The Access Group in November 2017 for over £25m. Nick has been recognised as one of the UKs leading entrepreneurs by The Huffington Post and has won startup awards from The Guardian and RealBusiness/Disrupt.
Nick is now an active angel investor and looking to help other founders and drive forward the UK startup community. He has also been hosting his own podcast, "Pitch Deck." In each episode, a startup founder has 10 minutes to pitch their business to Nick and guest Angel Investors/Mentors. They then all discuss the pitch and the business itself, asking questions an Investor would ask in a real pitch. The guest Angel and Nick then discuss what they make of the business and investment opportunity.
